Become a Professional PADI Instructor with Rich Coast Diving

They might not be known as good as island archipelagos of fellow Central American countries, yet the islands of Costa Rica are one of the most visited by divers. Although the visibility around Costa Rica is not the best all year round, the incredible diversity of marine life is what lures them to explore this magnificent destination. Whether you’re traveling to Costa Rica to scuba dive, snorkel, or get your PADI open water certification there are plenty of places there that will make your stay a real treat no matter the intention.

The most popular diving destinations in Costa Rica are the Bat Islands. Located about 30 miles out to sea off the north coast, sitting offshore from Santa Rosa National Park, this protected waters are full of enormous Manta Rays, Bull Sharks, schools of both grunts and jacks as well as  other great species such as turtles, parrotfish, moray eels, dolphins and more. Simply perfect mix of different marine life and fish that normally do not exist together.

One of the scuba dive centers in Costa Rica and the only PADI 5* CDC Tec Rec facility with a Green star award is Rich Coast Diving (RDC)  located on Playas del Coco, a small beach town and one of the oldest beach communities in the area. They run daily diving as well as snorkeling trips in small groups to the Bat Islands and other destinations and provide training programs from beginner to the PADI pro course such as TEC Deep diver.
