The most popular diving destinations in Costa Rica are the Bat Islands. Located about 30 miles out to sea off the north coast, sitting offshore from Santa Rosa National Park, this protected waters are full of enormous Manta Rays, Bull Sharks, schools of both grunts and jacks as well as other great species such as turtles, parrotfish, moray eels, dolphins and more. Simply perfect mix of different marine life and fish that normally do not exist together.
One of the scuba dive centers in Costa Rica and the only PADI 5* CDC Tec Rec facility with a Green star award is Rich Coast Diving (RDC) located on Playas del Coco, a small beach town and one of the oldest beach communities in the area.
