Cody Elkins, a professional FMX rider jumps over a moving plane flying sideways piloted by an aerobatic pilot Skip Stewart. This performance took place at the 2014 Cameron Air Show in Cameron last weekend although the two have been working on the stunt for the past 10 years. Why we haven't seen it before? Cody says there are no many promoters allowing anybody to perform such a trick.
"It's pretty much up to me to make sure I time it right and that Skip is (flying) underneath me," Cody, the FMX rider said. "At first, it looks kind of scary and people don't know if it will hit (me)," Cody adds of the current trick. "But once you see how much control he has on the machine - he's super talented - it's just a matter of me doing my job and it's no worries at all."
We will see more of it in the future as according to the filmmaker Mike Jensen this is just a trailer of what's to come. We can't wait.
