Slackline World Cup Returns to the US
In 2008 the first official competition was put on by Gibbon in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Competitive slacklining grew from there and the first World Cup was held in Munich, Germany in 2010. The United States began hosting slackline competitions in 2011 and is proud to host the first 2014 World Cup event at the GoPro Mountain Games. The World Cup will begin with 32 athletes on Friday afternoon and be whittled down to 8 by Sunday for the final showdown.
