second edition, attracted 24 of the world's best…
Words by Jeff Witt: Last summer was a great success, seeing 15 visits to the summit of the Grand Teton and a couple beautiful traverses, including the first, and one of the few successfully guided Grand Traverses of the year. That particular trip was quite amazing - my good friend Brian and I spent three days climbing seven major peaks and countless summits, enjoying the incredible weather that smiled on us the entire way.

Looking back at 2015, it was definitely a great year with many excellent adventures along the way. Some of these adventures were shared with many of you, and I look forward more trips together in the future. There were several high-points from the year. January and February was about climbing the classic test-piece ice routes of SW Colorado and Cody, WY. March found us plucking some amazing ski lines in the Canadian Rockies and the Selkirk Range. April and May were spent in Europe, skiing in the Alps and training in the AMGA Ski Guide program, not to mention motorcycle touring the Italian countryside and French Riviera, sampling delicious wines and cheeses found along the way.
For June through September I was guiding in the Tetons, and many of you were there and shared a rope with me. It was a tremendously successful summer and a genuine pleasure to spend so much of it up in the mountains. After a little personal time to relax, climb and visit family, December was spent embracing winter through skiing and ice climbing. Without a doubt, a highlight was attending the Bozeman Ice Festival and teaching an Ice Climbing Clinic for Adidas. As in many of the disciplines that I enjoy, it was a pleasure to connect with students from around the country and share my passion for climbing ice with them.
