This was a reminder of 25 years of existence of Typhloservice project. This project aimes to support development of unassisted and independent life of blind people. Her Ladyship Mathilda Nostitz, who has been involved in helping to visually impaired for a long time, came too to witness the diving.“I admire the work done by Typhloservice and I feel the need of its work. There is no other institution like that in the Czech Republic which would help blind people to get back to normal life” says Her Ladyship.
Course of the whole action was observed, recorded and verified by commissary of Dobry den Agency from Pelhřimov, which covers the area of records and curiosities for the Czech Republic. All the participants have certificate of disability (ZTP/P), therefore they need help of their guide in majority of common situations. But it doesn’t mean that thus challenged people cannot live fruitful and fully fledged life and take part in almost any common activity. Mass dive taken part this Sunday is a clear proof of this.
