Squamish Kiteboarding - Outdoor Capital of Canada
Kiteboarding and windsurfing are popular water sports in Squamish during the summer. Both sports are practised at the mouth of the Squamish River (called the Spit). Predictable wind on warm sunny days makes Squamish top kiteboarding location in western Canada. You can take high quality lessons from VKS Kiteboarding school, one of the best local guides. Adrex.com recommends VKS Kiteboarding team mainly because of its experience and a great weather (wind) advice.
Squamish and VKS Kiteboarding school have become popular with Vancouver and Whistler residents, both less than one hour away by highway.
