The Longest Continually Running Skydiving Competition in the U.S Heads to Arizona
This Winter, nearly 100 adrenaline-loving students from colleges and universities across the country will set their books aside as they flock to the desert to put their skydiving skills to the test. This popular annual event is all about learning, safety, sportsmanship and camaraderie among students from different colleges who come every year to compete in skydiving, and many continue on as competitors after graduation.

Competitors will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in three spectacular disciplines: Formation Skydiving (2-, 4- and 6-person formations), Vertical Formation Skydiving (2-person formations) and Accuracy Landing (classic and sport accuracy). The past couple years, collegiate competitors have set a slew of new national collegiate skydiving records. This year, they’ll look to set new marks for skydiving excellence!

Located midway between Phoenix and Tucson, Skydive Arizona, which will also host the 2015 USPA National Skydiving Championships in October, is one of the largest drop zones in the country with a massive fleet in their hangars. It will be an adrenaline-pumping action happening above this great drop zone in the heart of the scenic Sonoran Desert. Visitors can look forward to will see hundreds of colorful canopies filling the sky from sunrise to sunset each day and experience the rush of competition firsthand and hang with the collegiate competitors as they practice choreographed moves on the ground between jumps.
